The only red card you’ll want is for crumbs on your shirt. The Fowl Play takes tender chicken off the bench and sends it straight into a mild, tomato-based Balti curry sauce bursting with flavor, spice, and just enough heat to keep things lively.

Born in Birmingham in the late ’90s, the Balti pie quickly became a cult favorite among football fans, right up there with halftime chants and dodgy referees. We’ve kept the spirit alive with our flaky, golden puff pastry that holds strong through extra time. Packed with punchy aromatics and proper curry flavor, Fowl Play is the kind of pie that scores every time.
Shipping and Packaging

We ship every order with love and care! Your pies are packed in insulated coolers with dry ice and gel packs to keep them frozen and fresh on their way to you. It’s all part of our flat-rate shipping with no surprises, no extra charges, just great pies delivered right to your door.

Baking Guide

1. Let it chill. For best results, thaw pie overnight in the
refrigerator before baking.

2. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C)

3. Unwrap and bake. Remove packaging and place
pie on a baking sheet. Bake on the center rack of the oven.

From Thawed 20 – 30 min; From Frozen (if you must!) 35 – 45 min
Oven times may vary.

4. Check the temp. Ensure the internal temperature
reaches 165°F (74°C) using a food thermometer.

5. Cool and enjoy. Let pie rest for a few minutes before serving.

Excellent pie! I’m British, living in America, so I have missed a chip shop pie. Your cow a bunga pie is as close to a minced beef and onion pie from a British chippie, as it is possible to get. Well done and thanks!

Got my first box this week.(custom flavors) Received a call regarding the address it was coming to which was great service. Pies came packaged very nicely and still frozen. Chose to try the lamb curry and not disappointed- very flavorful, even a bit spicy for my taste but enjoyed it very much. Nice chunks of meat and the crust was delicious. Popped out of the tin easily. Made a nice lunch with a bowl of vegetable soup. Can’t wait to try the other flavors! Definitely recommend.

Your Pies are absolutely delicious, hard to pick a favorite, but I have to say your Steak and Kidney Pie took me home to Ireland .

Over the years, we have looked for a traditional RSA savoury "hand pie" and have never found anything close to what we were used to. Pouch Pies have done an excellent job of satisfying our taste buds. We ordered a variety pack so we could taste a good sampling of what they had to offer. Everyone of the pies have been delicious and we look forward to ordering many more.

I was a little skeptical about the chutney at first, but wow—this Bobotie is a game changer. The curry is warm and flavorful without being overwhelming, and that hint of sweetness from the chutney is just perfect. It’s definitely not your average meat pie. My new favorite for a quick weeknight dinner!
